Enable IPV6 for 3CX

Background:

 

We had an error when using Debian to install 3CX on Aliyun platform. Finally, we found that the Debian system provided by Aliyun platform has disabled IPV6 by default. We need to enable IPV6 function to install 3CX normally. This document will introduce how to enable IPV6 on Debian systems provided by some cloud platforms.

 

Steps

1. Enter the following command to check IP Address, we cound found there was no IPV6 information.

ip address

2. Enter the following command to edit the configuration file and delete the contents of ipv6 （ipv6.conf…)

vi /etc/sysctl.conf

3. Enter the following command to edit the configuration file. Delete the configuration of ipv6.disabled=1

vi /etc/default/grub

4. Enter the following command to edit update system startup configuration file

update-grub

5. Reboot system
6. Reconnect to log in to the system to view IP information. We can see the IPV6 information now.
