Here we will register the FXS gateway to the 3CX IPPBX, and we assume that the FXS gateway and 3CX are in the same local network, after that, all the analog phones which connect to FXS ports can call each other, and they can call any other 3CX extensions each other too.
The steps are as follows:
Firstly, let us set the 3CX server, please create the extensions for all the FXS ports in the 3CX IPPBX, and one FXS port will use one extension:
Secondly, Let us set the FXS gateway.
1.Please put the 3CX IPPBX IP and sip port into the gateway, and choose the Registrar mode as Per line:
2. Please put the 3CX extension information into the FXS ports, and one FXS port will use one extension:
Here Auth User Name is ID of 3CX extension, and Registrar password is Password of 3CX extension.
After we finish all the settings of FXS ports, we can check the registration status in the gateway:
If it displays register success, it means we can use the analog phones of FXS ports to call now.
