How to import contacts in bulk of Fanvil Phone

We can add contacts one by one on the phone, but this is too inefficient. In this document we will introduce how to import contacts in bulk of Fanvil Phone.

Prerequisites:

  1. One Fanvilphone
  2. Microsoft office (Excel)

(This document uses the X4 phone as an example to set up the description)

Step 1: Making a contact template

  • Log in to the phone on the web page, select “Phonebook” — “Contacts” — “Add new contact”, add a contact information in the pop-up “Add new contact” page

  • After filling in the contact information, click the “OK” button and a contact is added to the phone.

  • Select “Phonebook” – “Advanced” – “Export Contact List”, click “Export CSV”, you can export the contact list in CSV format, the file name defaults to contact.csv, as long as the contact information is added to the file, and the format of the file is not changed, the added contact information can be smoothly imported into the phone book.

Step 2: Edit Contact Template

  • Use excel to edit the contact, first use “excel” to open the “contact.csv” file you just exported in step 1. Add related contacts, as shown below, you can easily copy and paste the information in other address books without affecting the use.

  • Click on Excel’s menu bar – click “Save As” to save the edited file. The save type must be CSV data.

Note:

Fill in the name column with the name of the contact.

Fill in the phone number in the work column, such as the number used inside the company.

Filled in the mobile column is the contact’s mobile number.

Fill in the ring column with a ringtone, ie if the call is this number, then which ringtone the phone rings with.

Fill in groups is a grouping. Note that if you want to edit a group, this grouping must be the original group on the phone, such as: friend, work, home, etc.

Step 3: Import Contact Template

  • Log in to the phone in the web page, select “Phonebook” — “Advanced” — “Import contact list” — click “Select”, find the contact file just now, click “Upload”.

  • Next we can go to the “Phonebook” – contact to see the contacts we just imported.
