SIP connecting between 3CX and Skype for business 2015

The environment we tested was that 3CX and Skype for business 2015 were on the same LAN, and the function was that the extension between 3CX and Skype for business 2015 could call each other.

一、Create a new PSTN gateway in the Skype for business 2015 topology

1、Create a new PSTN gateway

 

2、FQDN is the internal IP address of 3CX

 

3、Define an IP address.

 

4、SIP transport protocol selects TCP; listening port is changed to: 5060

 

5、PSTN gateway added is complete

 

6、Publishing topology

 

7、Topology released successfully

 

二、Set up voice routing on the Skype for business 2015 control panel

1、Add Skype for business 2015 extension (6xxx) and 3CX extension (8xx) to the dial plan

 

2、Set up a voice policy. Scope: global, PSTN usage: local

 

3、Set up routing. The matching mode is set to: (.*)

 

4、Add a SIP Trunk to be associated

 

5、PSTN usage

 

6、Trunk configuration. Set delete “+” in the called number conversion rule

The setup of Skype for business 2015 is complete. Next is the 3CX settings.

3CX settings

Note:

  • The TCP protocol used by the SIP trunk of Skype for business 2015, 3CX also needs to use TCP protocol to connect.
  • The SIP Trunk connection method of Skype for business 2015 is only IP to IP.

 

1、Create a SIP trunk. Use the TCP protocol.

 

2、Set up SIP trunk

 

3、Add DIDs number (used to bind the extension to help Skype for business 2015 call 3CX extension)

 

4、After added the DIDs number, then set the incoming call rules to help the Skype for business 2015 extensions to call the 3CX extension. Add a DID rule to bind the DID number to the extension.

 

5、Create an outgoing call rule that will cause the 3CX extension to call Skype for business 2015 extension.

At this point, the entire SIP connecting setup has been completed.
